What do I do for fun?  I love spending time with my family.   I also enjoy playing and coaching basketball.  I also enjoy being outdoors.   Competing in U.S.T.A. (tennis) and forming the infamous T.N.T. night (Thursday Night Tennis) at a local tennis facility is also very relaxing.

Susan Holt, M.A.
Parent Coach

Hi! I’m Susan Townsend Holt, Board-Certified Family Life Coach.  I was raised in a small North Carolina town by parents who taught me the value of healthy boundaries, faith and unconditional love.  With 30 years of combined experience in teaching and coaching, I am thrilled to help disconnected families learn and grow to be able to connect again and engage in healthy family relationships.

I’m also privileged to be the Director of Everyday Parenting Solutions, a talented group of professionals who are committed to helping parents and teachers raise our children with a commonsense and compassionate approach. I am a Board Member for  Family Life Coaching Association I offer individual consultations and workshops online and in person.

The common denominator of all I do is healthy boundaries which empower you to be a loving person who can set limits on unhealthy behaviors.  Boundaries empower and equip us to respond to others from a stronger and healthier place, be it with family, friends, children, co-workers…and even ourselves.   Trained by the Townsend Leadership Program and the Townsend Institute of Christian Psychology,  I can help you move forward in both Competence and Character at work and at home.

I have a Master’s in Education, I serve Community West Church in Richmond’s West End as Director of Family Ministry and I actively support many non-profits in Richmond who improve the social/emotional health of our children, teens and families.  My family includes an amazing husband of 37 years, two strong and talented daughters and a geriatric shih-tzu named Cookie.

I invite you to learn more about me at my site here and contact me at!

Since 2002 I've been working in the financial services business through our sister company,  Endeavor Capital LLC. It  has been a multi-year qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table and has been awarded Best of Awards by Style Weekly and Virginia Living Magazines many years over.

I've recognized a need for leadership -- for our clients, their businesses, their employees and their families.  This realization has lead to an understanding that without strong relationships and leadership, families and businesses fail.  The repercussions are preventable.

I am responsible for setting and maintaining the long term vision of Strengthening Endeavors, leveraging Strengthening Endeavors with Endeavor Capital, LLC and other organizations, recruit and retain coaching team, recruit and develop clients for the business, promote and market our services, serve others so they are strengthening their engagements, inspire others to hire the firm for their good.

What do I do for fun?  Spend time with my wife and kids; our family is working towards visiting all 50 states; inspire others to live their best lives in all areas; investing in relationships with business and community leaders; investing in men and empowering us to be who we were created to be; being outdoors...

What are my Dreams?  To inspire you to express your dreams and desires and to have them become a reality by utilizing the resources you have access to.  I like to teach people to think about ways to create multi-generational impact.  That my kids may be the best version of themselves daily.  That I can support my wife and kids so their impact and ripples long outlive me.
